Boy moms- Did you circumcise?

Im currently being bashed for wanting to circumcise my new baby. I don’t want any arguments on here im just curious to see how many people still do! Thank you in advance

I have 2 boys and they are not circumcised. My husband is and he and I both agree it’s not something we wanted to do. I’ll keep my personal opinion to myself.

This is a great question! I had a girl in November 2018, but I’m currently pregnant with a boy. I don’t feel at all qualified to make that kind of decision, so I told my husband it’s his call. He was actually really adamant FOR circumcision. I wouldn’t have known or guessed! Ultimately this is your and your partner’s decision what you’ll do, and your boy’s penis really isn’t anyone’s business! I don’t plan on talking about it at all with anyone.

I was against it, but ultimately let my husband make the decision and he was EXTREMELY against it for a variety of reasons (both health and religion) so our son is intact. I feel pretty much the same way about circumcision as I do about infant ear piercing

From a medical perspective, yes, it is better to circumcise. Far less risk of developing infections, among other things. 
Ultimately it’s your decision. Maybe just don’t share anything with them moving forward and only speak to qualified medical professionals about things like this. I’m sorry you’re being bashed by your family.

Both my boys are intact (not circumcised) and I’m due with a 3rd boy in April who will also remain intact.

pregnant with my girl number 2, but our third girl, but we spoke about it when i was pregnant with our girl in 2018(before knowing what she was) that if we ever had a son he would be intact, a culture thing and to match him.

We chose not to for many different reasons but it’s a personal choice. There’s an interesting documentary on Netflix called “American Circumcision” that I’d recommend. Admittedly it’s more anti-circumcision, but could give you the other side of the argument.

Wouldn't consider it unless their was a medical reason for it. Not offered in UK routinely unless for a reason x
