Painful sex during ovulation??

I’ve been temping for over a year so I know when I ovulate, I got my peak last night. We did the deed and no pain whatsoever. Very much into it actually, it got pretty rough and deep. No problems.

Today I knew I was ovulating because I usually get some cramping on my sides, so we got home from work and baby danced. It hurt deep inside, sharp pain as if he was hitting my uterus or cervix. This ONLY happens during ovulation, is this normal???? Does anyone else experience this? I’m wondering if it could be endo or if this is something other women experience
