What are my chances of getting pregnant? 🤦🏼‍♀️

So I just started taking ovulation tests, not because I want to get pregnant. I started taking them as a “birth control”, but I stupidly had unprotected sex yesterday thinking that I probably wasn’t going to ovulate for at least 3 days, but I took an ovulation test today and it is clearly positive. And I’m only 17 and also the reason I’m not on birth control is because I’ve had bad experiences with it in the past. But what do you think my chances of getting pregnant are now? I’ll keep you updated if I get my period 😭 also want to add this is my first month doing this.

Using ovulation tests as birth control is not protection... sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days... there’s a very high chance of pregnancy..
If you’re ovulating, Plan B won’t work.
So all you can do is wait for your period and hope it comes... if it does come, start using actual birth control.

Sperm can live inside for like 5 days. I actually got pregnant 5 days before ovulation so if you’re going to do natural family planning you need to do better research on it.

Ovulation tests can be used as birth control but not like that!! There is a whole method around it. 3 days is not nearly enough, as sperm can live inside you for 5 days. You need to be testing every single day to track the progression and abstaining for at least 5 days before, and 3 days after your darkest most positive test. Better to be on the safe side and wait to do anything until you know your ovulation is well past, just in case is comes early. 
It’s called Marquette method, you can look it up and learn how to do it properly. 
However...at 17 this is really not the best route, it’s too easy to make mistakes.
I don’t like how hormones effect me either so my husband and I used this method for two years. It was great in putting off pregnancy like we hoped but I’m about to have our baby now. Got a surprise when I randomly ovulated earlier than I normally do and wasn’t testing every day like I was supposed to. 
We considered ourselves “casually avoiding” pregnancy because we wanted a kid anyway just preferred to put it off a little. If you are seriously avoiding pregnancy than this method is really not enough.

Your chances are high (as high as they can be) even if you were 3 days from ovulation. You have to find a better way to protect yourself. Good luck!
