Postpartum bleeding?!

Hello I am 8 days postpartum and wanted to ask if it is normal for the color of your postpartum bleeding to be a brighter red and have increased. I have been running a few errands and pumping, and don't know if that caused the blood to get brighter. I had actually started to get light pink blood, but lately it has started to get bright red and it increased where the toilet bowl has a water like bright/clear red color, if that makes any sense. Please let me know your thoughts
