When did you have your baby shower ?

My mother in law in going to Germany for a whole week on March 19 and I was planing on having the babyshower on March 21 and I’m due may 16. However, now we have to change the date so that she can come but I think I might do it early so I’m curious to know when did you guys have your babyshower ?

I definitely don't recommend anything later than 36 weeks. I had 2 showers, one at 34 and one at 36 weeks. Baby came early at 38 weeks exactly and I barely had time to set up the nursery before he did. You'll want to have time to purchase anything else you need but didn't get, wash clothes, organize everything, put items together, etc. I didn't want to worry about anything once baby arrived. We were in the middle of hanging curtains in the nursery when my water broke.

Mine just got bumped up to March 7th, second one is March 29th (family in a different area than friends and us) I’ll be 28 and 31 weeks. I’m due may 22nd. April is already so crazy with easter and my sister has some events at school that I want to go to so I just want to get this out of the way. And it gives me more time to get everything together and buy stuff if we need to

I did it at 34 weeks. I'd wanted to do it earlier but the timing didn't work. I thought it was perfect.

I did it at 33 weeks, but def do it early. I wish I did mine earlier. It took a lot of energy from me.
