Confused? Never had this happen to me. Advise please.

So on the day that I was suppose to get my period I didn’t necessarily get it. I did start noticing brownish discharge when I wiped three days later follow after by a hint of reddish brown blood. It has been going on until today each time I go to the restroom and just yesterday I did notice more red than brown. Today it’s more of a brown/red when I wipe. I can’t say I got a full blown period because all I’ve been using is a liner and it doesn’t even get stained as if in a full blown period. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Is this something I should be concern about?

Please not this is the first time it has happen to me and all I can possibly think of is maybe stress related...last month was extremely stressful for me.
