Found out my husband was sexting women online. He said he never met anyone in person. Which crazy enough I believe that part. But honestly I’m just fuming right now. He was being super emotional and apologetic and crying and saying he wants to make things work. We have baby together.
I’m too mad right now to make any decision. Do I forgive and try to make things work for our son if he’s sorry or is a cheater always a cheater? Do people actually change

I believe that once you betray a persons trust, it is extremely difficult to get back to a place of trust. Trust is the foundation of any good relationship and without it, anything you try to build on that foundation will crumble. A relationship without trust is not a healthy relationship. I personally would not stay with a person I cannot trust. If a person is not worthy of my trust, they are not worthy of me.￼￼

I don’t think a cheater is always a cheater but I couldn’t let that go. I would never want to be one of those insecure women wondering what their partner is really doing or who they’re talking to. I wouldn’t want to compromise my happiness, my sanity, or my confidence because my partner chose to cheat.

I personally couldn’t stay with someone who did this, they’ve lost my trust and i couldn’t be with someone if my trust is gone. Don’t ever stay in a relationship just for yourself childs sake though, if you’re hurt and don’t think you could ever forgive him or move on from it then leave but if you can forgive him and can move on and don’t think it’ll cause arguments in the future then stay. The only way to forgive him is if you are 100000% really ready to forgive him. And discussions need to happen about why he was engaging in these conversations in the first place.  What does he feel he’s not getting from your relationship? And where did these women come from? call the women and ask them what their relation is to your husband

If you didn’t catch him he would have kept on doing it, so you know he isn’t really that sorry
