Upgrading from crib HELP
So my daughter just hit the 18 month mark. She absolutely despises her crib, as soon as I start walking with her towards it she screams constantly. Bedtime and nap time consists of me walking out of the room with her still screaming, and she’ll lay down and go to sleep usually within 5-10 mins. She sleeps soundly through the night so can very well self soothe..
So she has begun this new routine, where as I read the last page of her story book she’ll immediately flop down on my bed and start snuggling in to fall asleep. (I do not sleep in the room with her, we moved in with a relative short term and decided fairly quickly to continue sleeping separately). She will curl up on her belly, knees tucked underneath nice and comfy. I usually take this opportunity to lay with her for a few minutes. As soon as I pick her up to put in her crib, the screaming starts again.
So my question is, Is this a sign she has outgrown her crib?
