Genetic Mutation Carrier

Hi all - anyone out there a carrier for a genetic mutation?

My husband and I each happen to carry a mutation in the ALG1 gene, which is autosomal recessive. Our baby needs two damaged copies to manifest the disorder, so there’s a 25% chance of it occurring with every pregnancy. If it occurred then we would have to terminate because the disorder is not compatible with life, and even if they live it is just a couple of months of suffering.

Do we chance it and try naturally or go the expensive IVF route to ensure the genes are ok!?
