Cervix pain?!

Does anyone else experience cervix pain during ovulation and right before period? I’m guessing that I’m actually feeling my cervix opening. That’s the only thing that makes sense. It almost feels like lightning crotch.

I had my daughter 9 years ago and became very well acquainted with my cervix in that time and am positive the pain is coming from there. Short stabbing. Like someone is shoving an ice pick up there.

I do have an appointment on the 28th and will bring it up to the doctor then. I’ve had it ever since giving birth to my daughter (via cesarean, but pushed for 3.5 hours beforehand) and never thought much of it until TTC this go around. I’ve google searched and can find nothing. Just wondering if I’m alone in this.
