Tips for leaving my abuser?

I am in love with him of course. He is the father of both of my children and he is my best friend of 3 years. But he is abusive in every form. Emotionally, physically, you name it. I know I am with him still after all he does because of trauma bonding. How do I separate my feelings of being his friend and stop it from keeping me with him so I don’t end up dead?

I’ve been there girly, minus the child part. I had 4 miscarriages with this guy i thought I loved. He was absolutely ridiculous and abusive af. He made me feel like I would never be good enough for anyone! It took me over a year to move tf out and get him out of my life. And as shitty as it sounds, I left him while he was on a “business trip”. He wasn’t working and didn’t know I knew he got fired. But went along with it. I knew if I broke up with him he would’ve continued to abuse me and manipulate me to stay with him. The best decision I ever made was to leave his ass and now I’m happily married  to the love of my life. 
My piece of advice is to just leave him and I PROMISE YOU...things will definitely get better. He’s not worth the tears you cry. Especially if you have kids. Do not let your kids see you going through that pain, it’ll be worse on all of you. You and your kids deserve the best. If you need ANYTHING please don’t hesitate to message me or anything. ❤️

i have no advice, girl. i feel stuck too and im not even friends with my husband 🤦🏾‍♀️ we dont get along and have all sort of problems (including abuse etc) but i still love him cuz hes the father of my kids 🤷🏾‍♀️

Talk to a local dev and sv agency.. they can help you safety plan around leaving, provide safe shelter for 30 days or more for you and your children and provide you an undisclosed location if he tries to retaliate.. there you can also work on getting a ppo and a legal separation but just make sure you’re finding an agency within your county so he can’t claim kidnapping

I was there once or twice too (without the kids).  I waited until it was just so freakin awful that it made it an easi(er) to leave. I was going insane dealing with it. 
So you just have to do it (I know it’s easier said than done) and just KNOW that you and your kids will be better off for it.
