Am I ungrateful??

My so bought me valentines gifts for the first time in years and I was surprised. I opened one and its sexy lingerie and I hate it. Its far from the kind of gifts I like and honestly just don't feel like opening the other two because they're in the same packaging so I'm guessing it will be similar. Honestly a card, chocolate and maybe flowers would have been up my street.

Ungrateful as fuck . He took time out his life to finally shop for you on Valentine's, so fucking sad . If I was him and you told me you hated it  I would never make an effort to go out of my way to do anything else for you. But that's just me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kinda of. Honestly it’s the thought that counts and even if he has different taste in these things then you nothing wrong with wearing them for him bc obviously he likes the way they look and desires to see you in them.

You are completely missing the purpose of giving a gift. He took the time and put thought into getting you something. I think Valentine’s Day is suuuper overrated and hubby and I decided when we were dating we wouldn’t celebrate it with gifts. We celebrate it with quality time. But a lot of women would kill to get gifts from a SO.Quit being a sad sack, smile and thank him for the gift and then go get yourself an attitude adjustment.

I get being picky, but I'd say yeah, this is being ungrateful. I've tried to hint numerous times at my bf to go pick out something he likes and buy it and he hasn't thus far. Going and picking out some lingerie is not all guys' forte and probably makes most of them sweat bullets. Even if it wasnt my style, I'd probably still be over the moon he even made the attempt! Try to find something you like about it and maybe it will grown on you. Heck, maybe you'll look so darn good in it the style wont even matter! Meanwhile, I'm over here without so much as even a card btw lol
