Hi all, I know birth control is different for everyone and your body has its own reacts and experiences to birth control. But I recently, as of January 14th have been on the depo shot, that was my first shot and my doctor informed me that it would eventually end my periods all together. I had previously taken Nexplanon the arm implant for 6 months and constantly bled. One of my periods lasted 42 days and after that I had a period every other week. I know it’s only been a month with the Depo shot and I had gotten it on my period because that was recommended but it is normal to bleed for long periods of time? I’ve been bleeding for 16 days now and it’s not heavy at all but it’s obviously still present. Just curious to as if anyone has had this issue before with Depo? Any information or prior experiences is helpful thank you!!
