I just want to share some amazing information as some people may not know much about this, I'm not trying to bash you for not breastfeeding but please just read and maybe take into alittle consideration this! Even if you aren't planning on breastfeeding long-term or at all! experts advise that you at least give your baby colostrum those first few days!! "Any amount of human milk provides some level of protection and will help to fight diseases and infections,". There is no formula that can mimic the biologically active substances that exist in human milk!.

Colostrum is the first milk you produce when starting, it is the ideal nourishment for a newborn! It’s highly concentrated, full of protein and nutrient-dense! so a little goes a long way in your baby’s tiny tummy. It’s also low in fat, easy to digest, and brimming with components that start his development in the best possible way! And, perhaps even more importantly, it plays a crucial role in building his immune system!.

Colostrum looks thicker and more yellow than mature milk. Its composition is different too, because it’s tailored to your newborn’s specific needs.!! If you are completely against breastfeeding you can put the colostrum onto your fingertip and then into baby's mouth. It is absolutely the best thing you can do for your newborn baby. If you really don't want to breastfeed colostrum only last 3-4 days and is very little in amount so its not for long and you can do the fingertip if your that against it but It's honestly liquid gold!!
