Ovulation test to detect early pregnancy?

Has anyone used an ovulation test for early pregnancy? Not sure if this is a myth or not. The waiting game is torture. Suppose to start my period around the 23rd so too soon for pregnancy test. I read an article that suggested an ovulation test could detect early pregnancy?

Its a myth. I tested that theory and tested at least weekly during my last pregnancy. Never got a positive.

worked for me— thought i missed my ovulation window bc opks never said i ovulated so i continued testing and i finally got a positive and just happened to also test for preg— i was pregnant. (chemical pregnancy, miscarried at 5 weeks)

Ovulation test picks up hCG, but women also have higher LH before period also. So you have no way of knowing, if you are pregnant or you have a regular hormone rize. So I would'nt reccomend it.
