Ovulation spotting? How much is normal??

This is a bit scatter brained! Sorry!

TMI...So I took a trigger shot last month and had a small amount of spotting the next day. This month I had my trigger shot and the next day had quite a bit of bleeding... like dripping into the toilet not just needing a panty liner... we still had sex which resulted in quite a bit more bleeding. I’d almost say that I could have filled a tampon but that was about it. Today (two days after trigger) the bleeding is gone. Should I be concerned about the amount of bleeding?

Secondary question... does the bleeding mean that ovulation happened that day or that it was coming up?
