can bc pill clear acne in a week?

so i’ve been on a new pill called lutera for a week now. it’s a low dose combo pill. my skin has cleared up a lot already. usually i would wait until my skin was decent to start a pill just so i don’t trick myself into thinking it’s the reason i’m breaking out.

well i didn’t wait, and my breakout has disappeared. my skin has been more dry but no new breakouts or bumps and the old ones are gone. i usually have at least 2-3 small bumps on my face.

could it be the pill acting so soon or is it just a coincidence?
