My dad found out about my bf😭😭

So... I’m 17 and my boyfriend is 16 (he’s turning 17 in May)

I live with my mum, while my dad lives in another country, my parents are divorced.

I’ve dated this guy for four months now, and since I’m quite an introvert person, I didn’t tell my parents about him.

Two months ago I told my mum the truth, and she likes him, they met multiple times, so she had time to know him.

Today my dad found out about him (I posted an Instagram story with my boyfriend, and his new wife showed it to my dad), and he’s going to call me to know everything about that.

The problem is that he’s kind of strict, he’s a Muslim and he wants to raise me following his religion, even if I’m a Christian, that’s why I don’t think he’s going to accept him.

Since I was younger, I’ve always been scared of my dad because he’s kind of authoritarian and if I disobey him he would threaten me. I love my boyfriend and he’s a really good person, I’ve never felt so loved by a person who’s not part of my family and I don’t want to argue with my dad.

I didn’t tell him anything because I was afraid of his reaction, I don’t feel like sharing my private life with him, and moreover, I found out that he got married to his second wife nearly one year later. If he doesn’t share his private life with me, why should I?
