Meal prep?

Any advice for meals to prep and freeze so the first week or atleast few days after the hospital are a little easier??

With my first I thoroughly research Pinterest for freezer meal prep. I also made certain to have plenty of canned goods that would be easy to create “dump” meals in our crockpot.  Friends created a meal train which was overwhelming for a week and no help beyond when I actually needed it. My husband gets paternity leave through his work so it’s really about a month later that I needed the help.
It’s great to plan a few meals ahead but don’t be too hard on yourself if it doesn’t get done. Flexibility is key with newborns!

I just did a bunch of meals this past weekend. I bought aluminum trays and lids on amazon and went to town. Some things I made included lasagna, chicken pot pie. I also have a vacuum sealer, so being that I’m due late March when the weather will turn I bought hamburger and pre-pattied them. Pinterest was my best friend!

I’ve just been buying ingredients for maybe 2-3 meals each week when I buy my normal groceries so I can do a little prep each week! Most of these only require cutting up some veggies at most then throwing it all in a ziplock in your freezer. Hope it helps!
