So my boyfriend of two years just recently purposed to me on Valentine’s Day. I said yes. I knew this was coming. I helped him pick out the ring, but when he did do it it just didn’t feel right. Is this normal? Whenever I think about it I get stressed and worried, I just want to make sure he is the right one.

It was fairly early on in our relationship but we took things pretty slow in any case.
I wasn't exactly at my best when we started dating (in all aspects) yet he stuck around despite the family drama, despite the fact that I was possibly at my worst (looks wise) and that kind of thing. We had some REALLY tough times when we first started dating and he actually did say once that it's too much for him, and we broke up but a week later he phoned me back and said he was sorry.
And 17 years later were still together.
