When to test?

Hello ladies. I finished my pill in September last year and had a 34 day cycle (I expected it to be longer due to coming off the pill). My cycles since have been 28,24 and 26. Today I’m on cycle day 25 and took and Asda test this morning and BFN ☹️ I don’t track ovulation but glow seems to be spot on with my fertile week as I always have tinged cm. Should I just bite the bullet and get a FRER? Or has anyone had any success with Boots early response? Thank you xx
