Have you stopped giving the pacifier ?

I looked it up and says you can get rid of pacifier as early as 6 months but the past couple of days she’s been sleeping on her stomach..( she can roll over both ways ) 
So now she doesn’t want the pacifier which is the time to take it away even though she is 5 months 
I really want to do it because she’s not waking up in the middle of the night anymore because she loves this position she’s discovered 
Wanted to know how you got rid of the pacifier and what age

My baby rarely ever takes it so I don't force it 🤷🏾‍♀️ If she's not taking it might as well leave it alone, lol.

We took it away for night sleeps at 20 weeks. She was to dependent on it for falling back to sleep. So that meant we’re up putting it back in every 45minutes 😭😭 We let her have it for naps and during the day though.

I’m 100% pro paci but if they aren’t into it I wouldn’t push it. 
I would rather my baby want a paci over sucking his thumb so I offer when he’s getting cranky but take it away for when I actually put him in the crib, I’ve done it since birth so he’s used to falling asleep on his own.
If he didn’t I would offer it whenever. I gradually weened my first before he was two and he never used it for “playtime” only when cranky or upset to settle himself.

My baby boy just decided about a month ago that he didn’t want it anymore. I haven’t gotten him to take it at all in the last couple of weeks. But he’s most likely going to be a thumb/finger sucker though. He’s wanted to since birth and I fought it with the pacifier for 4.5 months. Now I’m just letting whatever happens happen since he’s completely uninterested in his paci.
