Gestational hypertension??

Has anyone had gestational hypertension and it didn’t go away after birth? Or did it take longer than usual to go away after giving birth??

Answer

I had Gestational hypertension at 37 weeks and had my C-section then. My blood pressure spiked afterwards. I was put on magnesium through IV for 24hours then had to take blood pressure medicine on a regular basis for a few weeks then it went back to normal
