Like any helpful fun tips to save money lol. I read on Pinterest someone saving their 5 dollar bills for a year..

My bank has an automatic saving option where every time I swipe my debit card it transfers $1 to my savings account. It actually adds up pretty fast!

I do that! I save every 5$ bill I come across. It really doesn’t add up to a whole lot since I don’t use cash a lot but by the end of the year I have an extra $100-200 to treat myself with. We also save all our change in a big jar and cash that out once a year. Usually adds up to $50-60. I’ll also round out my checking account and put a couple bucks in saving after a purchase. So if I have $248.73 in my account I’ll move $8.73 to savings to make it an even $240. These obviously aren’t ways to save huge amounts of money but it racks up over time.

I have a chart I use. I also just get $100 each pay automatically put into another credit union I have. I don’t have a debit card for that account so I can’t just take it out when I need it.
