Does your baby have teeth?

When should I be worried? My son doesn’t have any teeth and I feel like he won’t for a while. He’s definitely not teething.

It’s normal for babies to not get any teeth for a while yet. One of my sister’s daycare babies didn’t pop any until a week after she turned 1, then she popped 4 at once. Totally normal. And some babies never have teething symptoms. My first was never ever bothered by his teeth, he acted totally normal before and during any of his teeth coming in. So baby might pop a tooth tomorrow or it might be a few months yet.

My baby just got his first one at 9 months, don’t worry it’s totally normal and I think the “teething” symptoms are completely misread by other parents babies don’t teeth for months at a time lol, they explore everything with their mouth and by chewing etc. we had no symptoms I literally just stuck my finger in to feel and there was a tooth randomly

My son cut his first on Sunday. My niece didn’t get teeth til 15 months. I have a friend whose babe got 2 teeth at 4 months and now at 8 has 7. Teething varies so widely from baby to baby. Most pediatricians and dentists don’t worry until 18 months with no teeth.

My early May baby miiiiight finally be getting one tooth. But I’ve heard of babies getting their first tooth as late as 15 months. I don’t think it’s worth worrying about.
