Cerebral Palsy worries....

I’m getting myself all worked up thinking my daughter might have cerebral palsy 😢 however I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know much about it other than my few google searches thus far.

She has what I can only describe as a tick in her left leg. It’s constantly kicking, but seems more uncontrolled than intentional.I noticed this around 2/3wks ago. She is currently 5.5months old (adjusted age 4.5months). So of course I googled it and the first thing that pops up is CP.

She had a vacuum assisted birth and the vacuum slipped off the first try and she came out on the second try. No worries at the time and she seemed otherwise healthy besides having jaundice from the bruising.So when I googled vacuum assisted birth it shows complications such as CP.

Asides from this “tick” she has been meeting all milestones, seems to use both legs for support, can roll both ways, loves tummy time and can support her head fantastically, is learning to sit up on her own now, uses both hands, etc.

I’m just curious if this is normal or if anyone else has experience with something similar?

I have an appt to see her dr next Thursday and of course will ask about it then.
