How concerned should I be?

Question

My 12 week old goes to a daycare center 3 days per week. Once I walked in and saw another baby drinking from my sons bottle. The teacher noticed and took it but the other baby still drank my breastmilk. Another time I picked my son up from a swing and saw a different pacifier in the chair. Teacher said it was just in the chair, not in his mouth but today I saw them take him out of the crib with someone elses pacifier in his mouth. At the same time, another baby was walking around with his bottle. Also, there is only suppose to be 4 babies for every 1 teacher but today there were 6 babies in the room and I only saw 1 teacher...

I worked in the infant room at a center. While these things do happen, it is very rare and we did everything in our power to avoid it. If a baby did end up drinking breastmilk from another mother we had to inform both parties. It was so embarrassing so we watched the babies like crazy to avoid it! The only time any pacifier mix ups happened were if a mobile baby grabbed one from another baby. Then we would sanitize them and that was that. Also, ratios are a HUGE deal. Staff always need to be sure they are within the limits. Even stepping out of the room is not allowed if the ratio will be over. I would speak with the director for starters to make sure she’s aware.

I’d remove my baby. My son is in daycare and everything is labeled properly. They have VERY strict rules

For the last pArt you need to immediately report them for being out of ratio. In the event of a fire she would not be able to get 6 babies safely out of that room with her. 
I would advise you to remove your child and place him in a better setting.

No way. I used to be a daycare director a.d it's the director's job at all times to know how many teachers are on staff and how many children are in their care. Trust me the director knew the teacher was out of ratio. I'd go to corporate immediately. 
The bottle mix ups do happen on a rare occasion and both parties should be informed about it in a timely manner. 
Pacifiers do sometimes get grabbed and taken by older more mobile babies. The daycare I used to work at didnt allow them for that reason.

Yeah I’d be heated. Especially cause why are they giving someone else’s baby your BM. What if they gave your baby someone else? Then the fact that it’s happened multiple times. I know they are babies but that’s still gross. You don’t know how often or if ever do those parents clean themm.. they aren’t of age to go grab it themselves so the adults need to pay attention
