Back labor? UPDATE...

Question

What's everyone experience with back labor?
I texted my dr about it and she suggested to take tylenol rest and use a heating pad, I also had multiple people to tell me to take a whitish bath/shower to see if it would help. Well it hasn't and it's been going for 2 and half hours now I'm in so much pain I wanna cry😭

Worst fucking pain of my life 🙃 although my daughter was sunnyside up & was stuck so that could have been why it was so bad.

Oh my god it was excruciating when I had it. I had no pain in the front at all, so classic total back labor. It felt like I had a vice around my lower spine that would get tighter and tighter during each contraction, til it legit felt like my bones would snap. Then it would ease off the same as what I imagine a traditional contraction would do- that wave like pattern. It was wild

Mine was terrible. I didn’t have an epidural or anything tho. She was sunny side up, I had to get in various positions to help her turn and once she did it was a huge freaking relief and the contractions were a breeze after experiencing the back labor! Once she turned I went from 7cm to 10cm in less than ten minutes.

It’s absolutely hell. 
I had it with my first daughter who I lost at 22 weeks & 5 days. I was in labor for 4 days, I FINALLY agreed to the epidural at the end of the 3rd day. 
I had it with my second daughter too, not any easier.
My biggest advice, take full advantage of heating pads (if you’re allowed) and the bathtub WITH JETS .. until/if you choose to get the epidural. The epidural helped SOOO much with the back labor.

Wasn’t bad. I just could not lay on my back!! I sat up in a chair (no epidural)

The best way I know to describe it is that I was being squeezed from my back and it wrapped around my front. 
They tried to make me lay flat on my back but it hurt worse that way. I just felt like if I could move, It wouldn’t be so bad.

It wasn’t bad. I always feel majority of my period cramps in my back so it was similar to that but a little more intense. I felt like I had to poop most of the time lol totally bearable though

Well, with my daughter I dont remember feeling a contraction in the front at all.. All back labor..  but I hate it.. it was terrible, I felt the constant need to poop, and like I had been hit in the kidneys... my spine felt like it was trying to come out of my back toward the very end..
