Did you taste differently when pregnant?

Okay ladies.... back story: my husband leaves for deployment in a few days. My period is supposed to start in 3 days. I have had zero period symptoms like I usually do, and we have been trying to get pregnant for about a year now.

Tonight when he went down on me, he quickly popped up and said “babe I think you’re pregnant”... and told me I tasted salty/tangy. He said he’s never, ever noticed a change before tonight.

Is this totally bizarre? Has this happened to anyone else? Are we losing our minds!?!
