Early labor?

I’ve been having contractions since last night, tonight they’ve been averaging 5 mins apart for the past 3 hours. They’re finally uncomfortable too and occasionally feeling lots of rectal pressure during them. Is it possible this is still just a reeeeally long early labor? They’re steady but don’t hurt. My app keeps telling me to go to the hospital but no way am I going in too early again! Anyone been here? (Also I had tons of 5 min apart contractions last week for several days and then it stopped. Currently 39wks)

I’ve had doula clients have contractions every 3-5 mins for 5 hrs and still get sent home from the hospital. Intensity is important as well. It could just be a very long early labor. Try miles circuit and make sure you go to bed at a good time.

Did they stop? I’ve had this same thing happen for 2-3 days now. I love 1.5 hours from the hospital so we haven’t been in yet. But I did call and they said if I could still talk/walk through them it was probably early labor

Its always that one time you don't go.

If they've been consistent for a few hours and they are 5 minutes apart, you definitely should go.
