how many wipes and diapers for hospital?

I plan to bring my own wipes and diapers for the hospital when my baby is born
I know the hospital provides you with some but I wanna use water wipes on him and avoid chemicals
I got a whole bunch of sample packs of wipes and diapers from store registries that I wanna bring with me
I just wanna know how many wipes and diapers should I expect to use on him for his first 2 days since i’m expecting to be at the hospital for 2 days after birth because my hospital holds you for 48 hours for a vaginal

We went through an insane amount of diapers and wipes, and ended up having to stay longer than expected due to our son having jaundice and needing to be under a bili light. Theres no good way to estimate with a newborn honestly, bring more than you could expect to use! Better to have too many than not enough

Bring a small pack of water wipes. Like the travel pack. And I’d say like 15 diapers. My kids would poop often

Our hospital gave us water wipes - they were awesome!! We were in the hospital almost a full 48 hours after birth and probably only used a handful of diapers. We used probably 2 sample packs of wipes was all and I think the second one we brought home with us because it wasn’t empty.
