6 weeks, 1 day. Bad ER experience
I'm trying to stay calm. I experienced light bleeding and moderate lower back cramping today. Called the doctor and was directed to be seen in the emergency room. Ultrasound, blood work and urine test later..... I am told:
"We think we see something in the uterus but it's too early, so we aren't sure."
(6 weeks is EARLY? I saw my son on ultrasound at 4.5 weeks!)
"The bleeding could be normal or could mean an ectopic."
"Fluid on your right side. Fluid could be anything, though!"
"HCG levels match up with how far you are in pregnancy, but we want to see if it rises in 2 days."
So I am directed to see my OB and get a follow up ultrasound.
I also saw light bleeding when cleaning up from the ultrasound. The lower right side of my abdomen feels a little sore. 4-5 hours of sitting in the ER just to be told no answers. Any experience?
Update: home from the Er and now bleeding significantly more with bright red blood
