Am I wrong for feeling like this?

My boyfriend works 7 days a week sometimes 
16hrs sometimes 9. & we’re having a son in just a few weeks. My entire pregnancy he’s done the bare minimum yes he purchased the car seat/stroller but everything Else provided. He’s been too 1 maybe 2 appointments because he doesn’t want to rearrange his schedule but my moms schedule will change if I ask her no questions asked shes been by me the entire 9 months. But when I address it with him he’ll say if he’s suppose to be my boyfriend I shouldn’t have to ask other people like what sense does that make when I do ask you & you’re unavailable like wth. Now that we’re nearing the end I’ve been hospitalized a lot & he’ll drive me there but that’s it I go L&D ALONE! at this point I just wanna cut ties & lmk him when his child has arrived🙄 but I’d be bad guy then right?

My husband with my first worked away 4 weeks on 1 week off and made Any appointments when he was home. With my second he was working in town and didn’t make any appointments and came in to the labour ward just before our son was born and then went straight back to work a few hours later while my mum watched our 1st child. This pregnancy he has made 1 appointment only because he wasn’t working that day. His job is very important to him as it is his own business and I completely understand his stresses and the fact he wants to provide the best possible life for us in the end he has always been there for us for the things that really matter. Missing appointments because of work commitments to me isn’t a big deal just so long as he is at the birth and for any important milestones after that.

I wouldn’t be angry over missed appointments. It’s work. It makes money for your family. I just want my fiancé there for the first heartbeat scan and the ultrasound at 18-20 weeks. My fiancé is gone 1-5 nights a week for work, though typically only 2. I actually don’t want him to go to all the appts with me because they’re 30 minutes away and I like that time to just sit in my car by myself and sing. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Anyway, I’d just sit him down and have a conversation with him again and tell him exactly how you feel and then listen to what he says too.

I don’t think he understands what it’s going to be like. Hopefully when he meets his child he’ll man up and be a partner and father. But don’t put up with him not helping.. tell him what you need him to do because they’re clueless at the start

I wouldn’t be with my partner if he acted like that mine worked full time and came to every single appointment with my first and second. I was in and out of hospital throughout my first pregnancy and he was always there. I understand your partner works many hours but it doesn’t really make a difference he only has to go to the important ones that’s the main thing and he isn’t even doing that so I don’t think you’re wrong for feeling that way
