Potty training tips or advice?

We just got a potty for our 17month old today and I want to hear from anyone that potty trained around this age! What are your tips or advice? We got a potty that “flushes” and plays music when he pees or poops. He is in cloth diapers now and we are getting him training underpants rather than pull ups. We know when he is pooping and he can take his clothes off. He has been walking for a while and has no issue getting to and sitting down on the potty (I’ve already had him practice haha). He knows where the potty is (in the bathroom) and he can get to it without my help. He’s pretty independent. I know this subject gets brought up a lot but my search results were mostly for product recommendations or for advice on toddlers older than this so I just started a new thread. Thanks for any advice!!
