uhm wtf

hey guys.. so my bf was downstairs and he had his phone on charge when his snapchat went off and only went off once, i got up and checked which isn’t something i usually do, he usually just tells me who texted him but i wanted to check for some reason so i did and i don’t know exactly who the person is but i have somewhat of an idea (atleast i think) and it said they mentioned him in their story.. anyways so he came upstairs finally and i asked him who it was and he said it was someone else than the name i saw... mind you the name wasn’t actually a name it was like a fake name made up of letters if that makes sense. and then he was like you wanna see so i said yeah i wanna see and he shows me his snapchat convos and there was the name of the person he said on top.. and the name i saw wasn’t there.. i don’t get it wtf do i do or say to him because obviously i’m not losing my mind and i saw what i saw and now i feel like he’s hiding things from me or doing something sneaky.. any suggestions
