advice pls

ive been in a relationship w the same guy for about 6 years. im 20 y/o hes 22. he tries to love me and be with me but i just cant. ive fallen out of love with him and i dont know how to go about breaking up. he’s originally from a different state so he would have to fly back to a parents house cause we got together young and live together now he wouldn’t be able to support himself. ( he has no job no career no GED no car) i know im stupid. but i would feel like shit to make him restart his life. but i dont want to keep wasting our time. he doesn’t know any of this. help pls
