Maybe it’s a uti?

So I went to the doctor 2 days ago and I ask him if he know if I have a uti or not and he’s like yea it would tell us when you did your urine sample I was like oh ok and I just went to the bathroom and it hurts to pee like he would’ve told me I had a uti or can dehydration make it hurt to pee? I don’t know, I think I do have a uti.

He would have told you. When we test for UTI’s at my work we look for nitrites and leukocytes in the urine. If both are negative then we’ll also send out a urine culture to be sure. Maybe they did that? I’d call and ask if he wasn’t up front about it.

It can be from dehydration because I was dehydrated around 12 weeks and there was a lot of protein in my urine but a few days later when I went to my routine check up it was gone.
