What should I expect that’s scary and I should be careful in with baby boys?

I’am a first time mom of a baby boy. I wanted to know what are things I should know about baby boys and what are things I should be careful in with them? I never knew until I had my son that boys have a erection so young. I never knew until now hair can get caught around their penis and actually cut it.

Cover the penis during changes unless you like golden showers! 
The thing that freaked me out the most: even infant boys get erections.
At a certain point- they play with their penis qny chance they get. 
So far thats all I got (never had a girl, and I don't think that boys are naturally more adventurous bs) my son is only 11.5 months so I don't have much more

My boy is only 2 years old but let me tell you how strong he is! From day 1 I couldn't believe his strength and also just from comparing to my nieces (4yrs & 5mo) boys hands and feet are bigger then girls, even as a newborn my son had huge hands and so did my bfs nephew compared to my nieces. My son is also almost as tall as my 4year old niece.

I have a 12 year old boy and a 1 year old boy.
These are what I have experienced with my two boys:
- big huge sensitive hearts!
- can be quiet or grumpy or closed off when they are feeling emotional (you’ll learn if you have a boy like this that they don’t want to talk about their feelings or say I love you after a certain point but will find their own way of telling you - you just have to find a way to figure them out!)
- don’t know their own strength at times and when they do don’t understand how much they can hurt! (My 12 year old is bigger than me lol punch buggy can be a dangerous game)
- they stink. Especially after sports. Hockey bags, equipment and the smell coming out of the change room and he drive home and the walk through the house to the shower... stinky!
- they HAVE to wash their penis well it will get infected and swell up (I learned this from my disabled cousin who had to have a circumscion  - can’t spell today! - as a teenager)
- my boys are different - ones A mamas boy and always wants mama the other is more laid back. Ones on the go, stubborn and vocal the other is laid back, quiet and go with the flow.
- preteens (I only have boys) are emotional. If you bring home take out and forgot the shrimp and only got the chicken... there will be tears and complete refusal to eat... of course this is only on occasion lol and this doesn’t happen all of the time

Yeah I didnt know about tiny erections until the first time I saw one, pretty weird. Lol. I have 3 boys, and they are all very silly, very energetic, and little daredevils. If you are deciding to circumcise, it can be a little tough to see for a mama, but if it is painful for them it wont last too long. Definitely try to keep his penis covered for diaper changes for the first month or so, when you open the diaper they tend to want to pee right then. They will start playing with it as soon as they can grasp something basically, pretty much because they are curious about what it is! And it probably wont stop, lol, I still have to tell my 6 year old to get his hands out of his pants. But a little boy's love for his mom is so precious, and he will surely melt your heart often!
