The media is open about dildos and vibrators. Women are also open with them, and it’s accepted women have vibrators and use them (most cases). 
But you never hear about men having flesh lights and it’s seen as nasty or unacceptable for them to masturbate with one if they do have them. 
This seems like a double standard I see on this app alone, let alone in daily life.

Lol I do not feel like people are open about dildos and vibrators. They’re gag gifts and people are still awkward about them. Of course you’re going to see more people on here be open about vibrators and dildos over flashlights. The majority of users here can only use vibrators and dildos. Also this is stupid and irrelevant but I have to say this because it’s too coincidental. It this “macho” stigma toxic masculinity has introduced into people’s programming or way of thinking.
Just like it’s seen as “gross” for women to masturbate the stigma behind males masturbating is often associated with negative connotations like “if u masturbate u have a porn/sex addiction” or the most common “u masturbate because u can’t get “real pussy”. 
So adding a flesh light to that already toxic ideology just further stigmatizes makes sex toys. 
Make sex toys are 100% normal. And OK to use. Flesh lights make jacking someone off so fucking easy and it’s a lot cleaner too. Also I feel like it’s important to note that prostate toys are often highly stigmatize more so than fleshlights because of the whole ideology of “being gay” when it’s scientifically proven that the male g spot is their prostate. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
