Ok, so I know the title sounds really petty but hear me out. I almost always initiate the conversation with my bf over text (we live far apart so over the weekends that’s how we talk) and if I don’t message him it’s likely that it’ll be a slim chance that I get much from him. Today he had something to do, and I knew that so I didn’t text him and I wasn’t mad that he didn’t text me today. But he finished up a while ago and has been online several times since then. Now it’s late and he hasn’t even bothered to text me goodnight. Just kind of makes me feel lame that he hasn’t even thought of me within that time span (during which he wasn’t busy). I’m debating if I should suck up my pride and send him a goodnight text, but part of me feels that I’m just letting him know that I’ll always text him so he doesn’t need to make the effort. Advice?
