Should I go to the ER?

I’m 5 weeks, 4 days and just went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a faint pink on the TP. My first appointment isn’t until April. Should I go to the ER or wait it out and call my doctor tomorrow?!

Definitely don’t go to the ER. Relax with your feet up if you can and drink lots of water. The ER cannot do anything if you’re going to have a miscarriage and you’re too early to see a heartbeat on US anyways. You can contact your regular Dr to have your HCG bloodwork repeated your see if it’s rising or falling. But if the spotting stops in a day or two you don’t even really have to do that. Sorry, I know this is stressful, I’ve had two early miscarriages in my 5th week but it’s just a waiting game.

That looks like Normal pregnancy spotting. I had it at 5 weeks too and everything is fine!

Wait it out & call tomorrow to put your mind at ease... spotting (which is even more than what you have there) is so normal throughout pregnancies especially the start x

Do not go to the ER and this DOES NOT mean you're gonna have a miscarriage 🤦🏽 I spotted red the first night of my 6th week and went to the ER just to say they didn't see anything wrong and I didn't see anything but a little flicker of the heart so it was pointless and then spotted pink and brown the rest of the week almost and had a light bleed going into my 7th week but I just let it all pass. At my 8 week appointment everything was fine and I spotted brown in my 9th week a day or two and I'm now 21 weeks with a precious baby girl. Honestly some spotting is expected and all bleeding does not mean you're having a miscarriage. This is normal for the most part but not everyone experience spotting or bleeding. If you start bleeding heavy like a cycle and cramping or passing clots then that's definitely a sign to be worried. Good luck mama and enjoy your pregnancy for now. 🙏🏽

That’s normal early pregnancy spotting if it’s brown or pink.

I had this when I was 11 weeks. Looked exactly the same. I went to get checked out, had a scan and they could see the bleed on the scan but said nothing to worry about. So I'd ring and get checked out to be in the safe side.
