1 looks less likely to get caught on something and break, but neither are at all my style.

Number one, my mother gave me a family ring similar to the setting of the one on ring two....starburst of stones in exterior prongs. Gorgeous! It was rubies and amethysts I loved the design and always adored it as a lil girl but damn it was a pain in the ass to wear! It would snag on everything, hand towels, blankets, reaching into a purse but the worse was my hair!!! It was the last ring I wore before I swore off of artistic settings! Seriously I think I’m still missing a patch of hair from when I moved my bangs and the prongs just ‘combed’ out my hair

Neither one of them are my style, so I can’t even pick which one I WOULD choose bc I don’t like either one of them

I think option 2 is prettier because it’s more “artistic” if that makes sense. But option 1 is practical. Depends what your average life is like. Option 2 might suit you if you don’t do a lot of work with your hands or clean often or do rigorous work that could break it! Hope it helps!
