What do you feed your little one?

Question

I see that some people feed their LOs the same food they eat. I just wanted some ideas of what you may make for yourselves and give to your babies.
Say for example if you were having pasta, what would you do differently for your baby so they can eat that too? 
Its so hard having to make my own purees and i want to start BLW so need some help with how i can go about it
I thought id give her scrambled eggs and.... she didnt eat it but it ate her 😂😂

The only thing I do different is not add salt when cooking, we now salt our food once it's on our plate. I've also switched from using butter to avocado oil when cooking. And I'll cut up peices smaller for her. I just make sure it's done early enough so her portion has time to cool before we eat.

I limit salt and butter when I cook. She normally eats what we it, plus a puree and a fruit. But I would say she probably only gets about 50% of the food on her plate. The other 50% collects in her bib 😂

I don’t do baby led weaning yet. I’m not comfortable with it. There’s nothing wrong with feeding purées. My son loves veggies and fruits! He has some 3 times each day plus bottles in between or after.

I lean more towards baby led weaning but I offer things more mashed sometimes and will cut things into smaller pieces now that she has her pincer grip going. If I cook pasta I don’t really alter anything, I just make sure the meat and veggies aren’t choking size. I also have a food mill I used a lot when transitioning from purées to table food. She is 8 months tomorrow and eats pretty much whatever I eat, for example If I make a quesadilla I cut a strip off mine to give her and just add some Greek yogurt as a dipper so it isn’t too dry. There are great guides if you look up how to serve food for BLW. We offer whatever we’re eating but I don’t add salt (or add barely any), and I use the guide to make sure whatever I give him that’s in pieces fits within the guide for serving things in the right shape, consistency, etc. and it’s actually pretty easy once you start remembering things.
