I’m 21 weeks, and for the last 3 days I’ve been experiencing a deep aching from just below where my ribs meet down to about 3 inches above my belly button. The pain is right in the middle. I suspect it’s my diaphragm because the ache radiates up through my chest when I take deep breathes. It actually feels a lot like when you’re constipated, except I’m not. It hasn’t gotten any better or worse.

Has anyone else experienced this and had luck in getting it to subside? I’m a little anxious that it could be preeclampsia, but I don’t have any other symptoms of that, and the pain is right in the middle when I’ve heard preeclampsia pain is off to the right. It might also be gas that is trapped and can’t escape, because I feel a bubbling once in a while in that spot.

(I’ve emailed my doctor and I should hear back from her tomorrow, I’m just wondering if other people have had this experience).
