Pp birth control

I’m 7 weeks pp and last week I was put on the mini pill. I’m EBF. I didn’t want to deal with the cramping and bleeding I’ve heard about from iuds but honestly I’m reconsidering. The mini pill isn’t as effective as the regular pill and the info I was given says 1 in every 200 women get pregnant taking it perfectly. I’m not even sure I want anymore kids let alone by accident right after I’ve already had the one. What kind of BC is everyone on and how effective is it?
