Ovulation

I am on day 39 of my cycle (about a week and a half late in my period) all my pregnancy tests have been negative.

I'm pretty sure I didn't ovulate this cycle. I use the clear blue ovulation tests. The one that detects 2 hormones, and I had 19 days of blinky faces and never had a solid... Google says that late ovulation or NO ovulation can delay your period.

It also says that it's not concerning until you miss 3 periods.

If I never start my period .. can I still ovulate next "cycle" or can I not ovulate until after I finally have a period?

We are actively TTC. And I don't want to spend a bunch of money on ovulation tests if I'm not going to ovulate.

-ive not been stressed (until now) or anything. So I'm not sure what's going on 🤷
