Planning on breastfeeding or pumping after 12 months?

I’m planning to continue nursing in the morning at night as long as my supply maintains or until she self weans. I’m quitting pumping at 12 months though, pumping sucks! We also have a large freezer stash so I will go through that before I switch her to cows milk or whatever alternative milk, I’m not sure if we are going to cows milk yet.

I was then I decided not 2, only bc got my hands full right now wit my other children. But will start nursing less & waiting 2 finish the rest of my breast milk supply is then wean her to alternative milk supplement.

I would LOVE to pump until she’s 2 years old but idk if I can make it. My first goal is 1 year. Then 1.5 years. Let’s see what happens! I know many women who pumped and still breastfeed well last 2 years.

I wish I could. I quit pumping at a year with my first but kept nursing another 6 months. I thought then that I’d have the chance to nurse my second as long as I wanted to, but since I have cancer I have to stop at a year (and I’m lucky they let me have this long). I am really sad to have stopped my daughter early.

I go back and forth. Mainly because of her biting, I swear she sliced my nipple with her tooth and it's taking forever to heal so nursing from that side is excruciating. I'll probably keep up 1st morning and bed time sessions and just do regular food through the day but we'll see what the babe decides to do.
