Who’s wrong here? Me or him

My boyfriend told me the other night that as he was leaving his gig this older lady started talking to him( basically hitting on him). He said he told her he got a girl but said she kept leaving and coming back. She did that 4 times.

Today he tells me jokingly he was about to call her. So I’m like waitttt you got her number. He said yea I told you she hit me up. I said no you didn’t why would you take her number and then text her so she can have your number. He said I didn’t want to be rude.

I’m like if the shoe was on the other foot, you would be so mad. He’s saying that I’m tripping and making it a bigger deal than it is.

I have the greatest intuition and this is a MAJOR red flag. Why tf would you get her number. He could have pretended to save her number if he didn’t want to be rude.

Am I tripping?

Idk if I should break up with him over this. To me it seems small like okay maybe you weren’t thinking clearly. However this makes me not trust him, on top of that we’re long distance. Like if I let this little small thing slide then he gonna take that and run with it.
