Can anyone relate?

My boyfriend is always on his phone or playing video games and I honestly don’t know how to feel about it. I feel ignored but I don’t want to make it a big deal. This feeling really sucks just bc I personally don’t want to marry someone who is consumed by social media/video games. That shouldn’t be a priority over a partner especially in a marriage. But what do y’all think.

I get you- I wouldn't want to marry a person who ignores me for dumb shit too much either.
I like talking, and I like going places & doing things that don't involve technology/social media/mind numbing entertainment. 
I like the mind numbing stuff sometimes, but not when I could be having a good time with my partner.

You need to tell him you feel Ignored. He isn’t a mind reader and if you have had this conversation already an nothing has changed then you might want to reconsider the relationship.

My fiancé pretty much ALWAYS has at least one thing going (YouTube, audible, a game on his phone or console or both). I usually don't mind because I'm usually always doing something myself, but he's able to carry on a regular conversation with me when he's doing something else/can actually repeat whatever I had said to him. I flat out will be like "okay, me time" and climb on his lap sometimes though lmao (as long as he's not in the middle of an online match or something he can't pause or a boss fight or something.)

Otherwise, if I wanna spend time with him I'll game with him. He's not big on social media stuff though.
