Do you usually miss your period after skipping a month of birth control?

My prescription got messed up and i wasn’t able to receive my birth control the whole month of february. It’s now March and my period is due in a couple of days. Do you usually skip your period in this case or does your birth control help regulate your period?

It’s very possible it could be late or skip, as ur body is now adjusting to not being on the birth control for a month. Birth control doesn’t regulate ur natural period, as it stops ovulation, which means u don’t have a natural period on hormonal birth control... it’s just withdrawal or breakthrough bleeding from fluctuations in the hormones.
